World Record

I set a record yesterday.
I did not sleep for 42 hours . The 90 min nap in the bus at 4pm wed doesn't count as I have the tendency to doze off in moving vehicles... In fact, you could kidnap me, bundle me off in the car, and I would kick and scream for five minutes before dozing off.

Anyways, back to the topic...
I had two courseworks to hand in on Tuesday 1pm, so being the diligent and organised person that I was, I finished one on Monday night, and wrote out the other one until 4am. Then I went to bed, as I thought i could finish typing up my business plan in 3 hours on tuesday morning (It was due Tuesday 1pm).

After consulting my coursemates, I realised I could get an extension for it up to 24 hours with no given reason. So why suffer? I got my extension and went to the pub...hehe..

I came back and went back to work and didn't finish until 9am Wednesday. I didn't know 12 pages of scribbles done in 3 hours can amount to 31 pages!

Then there was the horrible and stupid technological glinch..
It took me 6 computers in 3 lab, 2 CDs and a total of 2 hours to write the business plan into the CD. I was not a happy bunny, in fact, I think I looked absolutely menacing, not to mention shitty faced due to lack of sleep.

I made a calculated decision to skip the extra tutorial in the afternoon to go shopping run some errands and I almost missed my bus back to Aberdeen!
Running or even attempting to walk briskly does make me feel old! Argh!

I finally went to bed at 2am Thurs and am bright eyed and bushy tailed after my 100 year 12 hour slumber!

Good genes don't give you dark circles. I have my parents to thank for that! :)

Chronicology of Record (Number of hours dedicated to activity):
20 hours - Business Plan
3 hours - fumbling with technology
2 hours - sitting in pub
2 hours - talking to old woman on the bus
2 hours - surfing the net
1.5 hours - unsuccessful fight with tendency to sleep
1.5 hours - eating at various times
30 mins - sitting in the tube
30 mins - looking for tshirts in Glasgow Uni
30 mins - deciding I like Alexander McQueen's My Queen *hint* & the new Channel Chance summer (I think it is, cuz the bottle is the same, but the perfume is green)
30 mins - running about to pick up my things to catch my bus
15 mins - packing my bag
10 secs - unpacking my bag
5 secs - waving to driver of a bus driving by

Grand total : 34 hours 15 mins 5 secs

The other hours were fluffed away and swept under the carpet. Please don't ask me what I did becuase I am too old to remember things like that!
