Spring Chicken

I just got back from a day trip to Glasgow today. And I realise how much I miss the place, with all it's flaws and endless days of rain and wind and rain and wind. Hmm, on second thought, maybe I don't miss it as much as I thought! :p

I have a long list of things to do, people to contact, letters to write, presents to send... I think I need a secretary for all this. It doesn't help that the rest of my family are also depending on me for the same things too. Bah! I hate being ettiquettely correct because it just makes so much more things on the list. My dad sent me a list with 101 things to do before we go back to Malaysia, and asked me to make one for myself too.

I went to see the GP today, to get all the doctor signature things to prove that I fit for work *Not that I am not fit, with all that exercise I do*. And also to chase them up for an appointment to see Gastro. NHS, forgot all about their own kind since November! I have an appointment for the day after I leave UK which isn't useful. Yet another thing on the To Do list to get sorted.

On a lighter note, I watched Ocean's 13 today. Had too much time, and didn't feel like shopping. *Yes, Stella MUST be ill hor* Brad Pitt is no longer cute. George Clooney still looks pretty decent, but I just realised his eyes look like a womans. I think I may have grown up, or need new glasses.

In the end, I decided I didn't need a 'Grow Your Own' Maid thing, and I want Valentino's new perfume Rock n' Rose. It is distinctively different and is more powdery than my usual choice of perfume. But the lady in Frasers was right, it was worth the wait. I did manage to get Gucci Envy Me 2, which was a limited edition last summer. I know it's out of season, but I think it's better than Envy Me. It was sold out last summer, so I didn't manage to get a bottle. Somehow, someone in Boots must have snaffled some from some garage somewhere.

As long as I have one, I am happy.

Now back to cleaning. No rest for the wicked. I wonder if anyone will take pity on me.

I need sugar.

PS: Someone asked me if they could get a Stella and how much it costs. Current selling rate is 3 char siew paus. In line with the rising costs of fuel, the rate will be adjusted accordingly.
