Thick Faced

Yay! I am 23! Or 24 if you believe my sister. I just need to survive my first day alone in the clinic. And get my SIM to work. And find a cake to eat. And find something better than microwave dinner, though the food in the restaurant here is truly bad and a microwave dinner actually beats it 100 times.

Thank you for all the greetings, the love and the care. Thanks to mum and dad for letting me spend their money and not complaining too much about the shoes and the bags and the perfumes. Thanks to my siblings for putting up with my temper tantrums and saddistic tendencies like tying up Lamby the Fat into a char siew duvet roll. My brothers for being such sweet creatures and sensitive enough to send me a 'Happy Birthday Sister' card (Thanks Osbert, but I won't pay for your Christmas flight home). My sister for being annoying.

Thanks to all my friends who have been there for me, listen to me whine and complain and always being patient enough to hear out my sometimes over the top schemes and ideas. For reassuring me that I am pretty, and no I don't look fat in that. And yes, an egg tart pillow is the coolest thing ever.

I wouldn't wish my life to turn out otherwise. Let's pray that the future holds greater possibilities and money will fall from the sky and I will never have to work again! :)
